Holidays in Zimbabwe
Most people have heard of Victoria falls. On one side you have Zambia and on the other Zimbabwe. This is a wonderful place to relax, enjoy a little gambling, ride horses to view animals and go on guided safaris. The river itself is great for rafting both in boats or even with flippers and you have a possibility to jump from the bridge - of course attached - Bungi Jumping. There are also golf courses for those who like to golf. The restaurants and hotels are really great.
Zimbabwe is, however, not only Victoria falls. There are many many other sights to see. Hwange National Park, not far from Vic falls, Great Zimbabwe, Mana Pools, Matobo Hills, Lake Kariba (great for fishing) the Eastern Highlands and South Gonarezhou National Park are only a few other sights worth seeing. The cities are also worth a visit especially if you are interested in Shona Sculptures or just interested in Art from Zimbabwe.
Photo Safaris
In all the parks, it is not only possible to see the big five on a reasonably consistent basis, one can also have good fortune and see animals such as the painted dogs, hyenas, hippos and much much more. The guides are extremely professional and know where to find the animals. The bigger parks are Vic Falls, Matisadona (near to Vic Falls), Hwange, Mana Pools and South Gonarazhou but even more smaller parks exist and are also worth a visit.
Hunting is also possible but mainly at private ranches.

Visiting the local sculptors, you will find an enormous array of excellent art
from very reasonable to very expensive.
There are sculptures for all tastes. Visit our collection of varous sculptures.
It is possible even to request sculptors to produce a sculpture of something that interests you and request which stone you would like the sculpture to be produced out of.
The quality of work will surprise you.
Visits to Sam Kuve (Sampson Kuvengurhwa) can be organised. He normally only sculpts pieces on order so it is difficult to find pieces that have been sculpted by him.
To remember your trip, you can also contact artists such as Barry Lungu. Barry has art already produced available for you to take with you.

You can also ask him to produce something that you have seen in Zimbabwe and you can keep your trip vivid and alive with his paintings hanging on your walls at your home.
