Zebra

Discover the beauty and agility of zebras, equine mammals native to Africa, popular for their unique black and white stripes which serve as camouflage in grasslands. There are three species of zebras: Plains Zebra, Mountain Zebra, and Grevy's Zebra.

As herbivores, zebras feed on grasses and shrubs, stems, bark, and twigs from bushes and trees. During the dry season, when food is scarce, they may resort to eating tougher plants or woody vegetation. Zebras also require a lot of water and will travel to watering holes to drink.

Zebra live in social herds with strong bonds between individuals. They are known for their incredible agility and speed, capable of reaching up to 40 mph (64 km/h) when escaping predators.

Witnessing zebras in their natural habitat can be an awe-inspiring experience. A visit to a safari park offers the perfect opportunity to observe these unique and beautiful animals and other rare species. Follow the guide's instructions for a safe and enjoyable adventure.
